In this workshop, the presenters will outline a variety of research based best practices in early intervention. The information presented will be targeted towards caregivers of young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The speakers will present general information about research regarding early intervention (i.e., intervention and educational related outcomes) and also provide applied information concerning basic intervention strategies that can be used at home, school, and other settings to help young children with ASD. The workshop is designed for parents, caregivers,educators, and therapists making decisions regarding early intervention options.
