• Reduced rates to the Annual National Conference on Autism;
• A strong lobby for persons affected by autism in Congress and in other pertinent Federal agencies and departments.
• Membership in an advocacy organization that spans the nation with its 200+ chapters.  
• In order to be a national member of ASA and recieve these benefits, local chapter members should also join the national organization. Call 1-800-3-AUTISM or visit their website at www.autism-society.org for more information.  Local and National membership are now separate.  In the near future, a mechanism will be in place so that a single membership covers both ASMT and ASA
