It is with very mixed emotions that I announce the resignation of Karen Coston, ASMT’s Education Series Director. Karen has been with ASMT for over ten years, serving two terms on the Board of Directors, volunteering for seven years as the Education Committee Chair, and then finally serving for almost three years as our Education Series Director.
In August of this year, Karen will join Scarab Behavioral Health Services, LLC as a Behaviorist/ Clinical Personnel. We will miss Karen greatly, but are happy for her and the wonderful opportunity she has to continue to serve the disability community while expanding her professional expertise.
Karen has poured her heart and soul into the ASMT Education Series for over 10 years, and will be missed tremendously. Karen wanted me to express her gratitude for the privilege of working with such an incredible community. Karen will continue to serve on the Education Series Advisory Committee and will always be a part of the ASMT family.
