Ultimately, of course, a claimant who understands how the social security system works can improve their chances of winning continuing benefits and backpay. To reiterate: To win a claim for ongoing and past due benefits, claimants with disabilities should learn about the social security disability and ssi disability process to improve their chances of winning benefits. |

| IEP Help - Positive Planner |
Positive Educational Planning is a simple planning portfolio that
guides family members to reflect and share what they know of their child as a learner and a family member. The portfolio is sequenced in a way that presents the child as a complete and unique individual first. It then addresses broad aspects of their learning characteristics and concludes with consideration of learning
priorities for the future. In it, you will find an example from one child’s family as illustration of the portfolio’s consideration points. You will also find a blank set of reproducible pages that can be used to create a portfolio for your own child. |

| Affordable Weighted Blankets |
Weighted blankets can be very calming to people with Autism, ADHD, Restless Leg Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder, and many other issues. You will find many online who make weighted blankets using sand, popcorn, dried beans, etc. These types of blankets are not washable and are a breeding ground for mold and bacteria to grow. You will also find blankets that are only weighted in the body area, this is not recommended by professionals. The blanket should be evenly weighted throughout for most benefit. We use weighted poly-pellets in our blankets, they are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and washable. They are sewn into small squares across the blanket to keep them in place. We take extra care to make sure all seams are closed and extra-strong so the pellets cannot leak out of the blanket. |
