It's not therapy. It's not a doctor's appointment. It's just a time to laugh and be noisy and be a kid.
Welcome! We are starting a playgroup for little ones with all kinds of developmental and learning disabilities up to age 12, hoping to organize a safe and fun environment to play and make new friends.
We have a five year old boy with Autism who has tons of energy and loves to run and play. We homeschool and wanted to meet other families in Nashville and the surrounding area who have kids with special needs that need a time and a place to just let the kids have fun.
We hope to meet at least every other week at a bounce facility or park or playroom. We want to meet on weekdays with families who homeschool, and we can gather on weekends with families with kids in traditional school. There is no cost except for any nominal fees ie. approx $8 at Bounce U etc., but the park is always free!
Any young child with any type of disability is welcome! Of course typically-developing family members are welcome, too, LOL.
Please join us and bring your family out where they can relax and be themselves and just play and be kids.
